Our Wedding

Tyler and Morgan, both natives of Rio Vista, California, grew up in the same town and attended the same schools but never interacted. Tyler moved to Lodi in 2020 to work for the Bank of Stockton, while Morgan was already living there and working as a hairstylist at Mint Salon.During the COVID-19 pandemic business closures, Tyler messaged Morgan on Snapchat to ask for a haircut. Morgan does not do mens-haircut services, but she offered to cut Tyler’s hair. She never ended up cutting Tyler's hair. After chatting for a couple weeks, Morgan worked up the courage to ask Tyler to join her for a walk around Lodi Lake. Tyler showed up to the lake with a fresh haircut, and he admitted he never needed one in the first place! After their first meeting, the two quickly became inseparable.Morgan and Tyler enjoy spending quality time together, especially sharing morning coffee and going on walks. After five years together, Tyler proposed to Morgan on March 3, 2026, while the couple was enjoying coffee in Lake Tahoe.The couple now lives together in Lodi with their cat, Roy, and they cannot wait to say, “I do.”

Mary Alice and Morgan have been best friends since Morgan was fifteen years old. Mary Alice is a renaissance woman, she can raise animals, make candles, cut hair, you name it! Mary is a friend Morgan can trust wholeheartedly. She has supported Morgan in everything she has done.

Tyler and Fred have been best friends since freshman year of high school. They were roommates in college at Chico State, and talk almost weekly. Fred warned Morgan when they met  that Tyler and him are best friends forever.

Fred Alvarez

Katie and Morgan have been best friends since preschool. They both grew up living across the street from each other in Rio Vista, and consider each other sisters. Their friendship has been described like peanut butter and jelly- always together!

Trevor is Tyler's baby brother. Trevor has been with Tyler in every chapter of his life. Trevor has a kind and welcoming soul, and he is great at Karaoke!

Natasha and Morgan became best friends while working at ULTA Beauty Salon in 2017.  They both transferred to Mint Salon and still work as a team. You can spot Morgan and Natasha at your local comedy show or beer and taco festival. 

Natasha Cantu

Cody and Tyler have been best friends since middle school. Tyler and Cody played sports together, went on trips together, and have shared in every important life moment together. Cody is a friend Tyler can always count on.

Cody Cornell

Anne is Morgan's sister. They bond over books, mushroom hunting, and travel. Anne lets Morgan test out new hair coloring techniques no matter the outcome. Anne is the best!

Anne Nakagawa

Riccardo is Tyler's Italian brother. Riccardo spent a year with the Gomes family when Tyler was a junior in high school.  Tyler and Riccardo have remained close since Riccardo's first visit. Riccardo is forever a member of the family.

Riccardo Cappai

Beth is Morgan's sister. Beth is incredibly family oriented and works hard to make every member of the family feel special. Morgan and Beth enjoy sports games, drinks by any body of water, and beautiful things.

Ryan and Tyler's families have been close for generations. Ryan and Tyler became close friends in college and have shared in every important milestone since. Ryan is always up for a fun time with friends no matter how far the journey is!

Ryan Mitchell

Grace is Morgan's youngest sister. Grace and Morgan have traveled a lot together, lived together, and share birthdays! Grace is the sweetheart of the family.

Nathan is Tyler's cousin. Nathan is musically gifted and a blast to hang out with! Tyler and Nathan have been close all their lives. Nathan is like another brother to Tyler.

Nathan Wright

Warren and Noelle are wonderful parents. Noelle brings fun to any ordinary day, and Warren will never refuse a good time! They both raised Tyler with love, integrity, and strong family values.

Tom and Julie love their daughter. Tom is an excellent cook, and Julie is an incredible quilter. Tom and Julie raised Morgan to be a hardworking and loving woman.

Bill and Tami enjoy music, games, and traveling. Bill has traveled all throughout the United States and currently lives in Canada with Tami. Bill raised Morgan to be creative, authentic, and self sufficient.
